1ST CENTRAL and Ravenscroft Support Sebastian Priaulx For 2019

Sebastian Priaulx is delighted to be receiving the continued support of car insurance provider 1ST CENTRAL and Ravenscroft in 2019 as he embarks on his exciting move into the British GT Championship with Multimatic Motorsports.

It was announced last week that following a successful, race-winning campaign in the F4 British Championship this year, Priaulx will move into top-level GT competition next season behind the wheel of a Multimatic-developed and built Ford Mustang GT4.

The seventeen year old will tackle this exciting new challenge with the crucial backing of his loyal partners 1ST CENTRAL, one of the fastest growing car insurance providers in the UK, and leading investment management group Ravenscroft.

Sebastian Priaulx: “Competing in the British GT Championship for the first time next year with Multimatic Motorsports is an exciting challenge and I’m delighted to have 1ST CENTRAL and Ravenscroft as part of the team for the 2019 season.

“It feels fantastic to have the support of two brilliant companies as I embark on the next chapter of my motorsport career, which wouldn’t have been possible without them. Hopefully we can enjoy plenty of success together in 2019.”

Since its launch in 2008, 1ST CENTRAL has grown a reputation for nurturing young talent and 2019 will mark their third season supporting Priaulx, with their backing being crucial in the Guernseyman’s impressive rise up the Motorsport ladder so far.

Andy James, UK CEO of 1ST CENTRAL: “I am delighted that 1ST CENTRAL has renewed its sponsorship with Seb for yet another year in his budding career, particularly as he steps up to compete in the British GT Championship. Seb is undoubtedly passionate about driving and as a business we are committed to nurturing the next generation of talent. We wish Seb the best of luck in 2019.”

Ravenscroft meanwhile is an independently owned group which provides stockbroking, investment management, cash management, precious metals and corporate finance services, and now has offices in Guernsey, Jersey, the UK and Monaco. They have brought together a group of islanders with a shared interest in sport to provide sponsorship to Priaulx.

Mark Bousfield, Ravenscroft Group Managing Director: "Seb’s passion, commitment and determination continues to impress us and so Ravenscroft and our friends are delighted that he has such exciting plans for 2019.

"His first season as a professional driver had highs and lows but he showed maturity beyond his years, both on and off the track. To have earned this drive at just 17 shows the talent that he has and we know that he will continue to be a fantastic ambassador for Guernsey and the Channel Islands."
