Redline Racing are delighted to announce the signing of two of the most exciting talents in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB for 2019, with reigning Rookie and Pro Am champions George Gamble and Seb Perez joining the team for their second seasons in the championship. Both drivers have become established names in the British Touring Car Championship support paddock in recent years, and their stock continued to rise in 2018 as they pieced together hugely impressive maiden campaigns in the ultra-competitive Carrera Cup GB. Gamble joined the series with a wealth of experience in Ginetta racing, having been a title contender in the Junior series in 2011 before winning the 2014 GT5 Challenge title. After a two year hiatus from racing, he returned as a multiple race-winner in the GT4 Supercup in 2017. The 22 year old from Nottingham was a finalist for the 2018/19 Porsche Junior Scholarship and while he ultimately missed out on the crown, he showcased his huge potential with a superb display last season as he secured three outright Carrera Cup GB race victories and the Rookie honours. Perez meanwhile, himself a former Ginetta Junior race-winner and GT4 Supercup front-runner, starred on his transition to Porsche competition last year as the 19 year old from Cheshire took twelve class podiums in sixteen races, including six wins, on his way to the Pro Am title. Gamble and Perez join the Redline Racing ranks with headline backing from Amigos Tequila Beer. An instantly recognisable brand in British Motorsport, its unique Aztec-themed brand identity will be showcased with exciting new liveries for 2019. Based in Teeside, Redline Racing are the most successful team in Porsche Carrera Cup GB history, winning the Teams’ and Drivers’ titles on ten occasions each in sixteen seasons, recording over 100 race victories and 300 podium finishes in the championship to date.
