Andrew Gordon-Colebrooke Set For Second British GT Campaign In 2020

Andrew Gordon-Colebrooke will enter a second season in the British GT Championship next year, remaining with leading outfit Century Motorsport to pilot one of their BMW M4 GT4’s.

The former Ginetta GT4 SuperCup front-runner will enter his third season of racing with Century and his second in British GT, having contested a maiden campaign in the ultra-competitive GT4 class this year.

Competing with support from WHIreland Wealth Management, Tyrrell Automotive and Buthlaw Automotive, Gordon-Colebrooke narrowly missed out on a podium finish as he recorded a best result of fourth alongside team principal Nathan Freke at Brands Hatch.

The 27 year old, who resides in Buckinghamshire, will share his BMW next year with Ben Hurst, with the duo keen to replicate Century Motorsport’s double title-winning success from 2018. They will initially join forces in the Dubai 24 Hours race in January.

Andrew Gordon-Colebrooke: “I’m absolutely delighted to be teaming up with Century Motorsport again for another crack at British GT4. Last year was a big learning curve for me and I’ll be looking to take those lessons into 2020.

“Partnering with Ben is a positive move as well – he’s also coming into his second year with the championship so I know he’s just as hungry as I am to go searching for success in the coming season. With both team and drivers having a good amount of experience in the championship, all the parts are there for us to have a successful season together. I can’t wait!”
