John Bennett Ready To Launch 2023 GB3 Title Bid

Single-seater rising star John Bennett has a title challenge firmly in his sights as he prepares to start his second season in the GB3 Championship this weekend at Oulton Park (08-10 April).

Bennett produced a hugely impressive rookie GB3 season in 2022. A regular front-runner from the outset, the Salisbury based racer showcased great speed and racecraft as he netted no less than ten top six finishes and a breakthrough podium result.

Those performances opened the door for a move to Rodin Carlin, one of the most successful junior single-seater teams in history, for the upcoming campaign. Bennett is benefitting from their wealth of knowledge and expertise, having won three of the last four GB3 drivers’ titles.

The 19-year-old talent has been working well with the team through a comprehensive pre-season testing programme in recent months, getting valuable track time at almost all of the circuits that they’re set to race on across the eight event, 24 race season.

Bennett is determined to hit the ground running and start the season with silverware this weekend, as he competes with the crucial support of J5C Management Limited, StreetSharp Ltd, The Accounting Centre Ltd, Khan Thornton Ltd, Lonetree Limited, Lewco Holdings Limited and Project Divebomb.

John Bennett: '“I’m really looking forward to the GB3 Championship season ahead. Pre-season testing has gone very positively, it has been great working with Rodin Carlin and developing myself as a driver over the winter.

“I want to start the season strongly at Oulton Park this weekend, fighting for race wins and bringing home a big haul of points to begin my challenge for the outright 2023 GB3 Championship title.”
